☁️ Hyundai representative says flying cars is the future

During a summit for car manufacturers, the president of Hyundai Motors Europe Michael Cole said that: “flying cars are a part of the future”, The Guardian reports.

Hyundai has made significant investments in flying cars technology. Last year Hyundai and Uber presented a collaboration on flying taxi cars. The goal is to offer flying taxi transportation in highly populated areas already by 2028.

This year they announced that they have already built a working flying electric vehicle, called S-A1. It can take five passengers and fly around 1000 to 2000 feet above the ground and go 60 miles before it needs to be charged again.

Hyundai is also involved together with the company Urban Air Port in building the world’s first pop-up airport in Coventry, UK. The pop-up airport is going to be installed in November this year and is called Air One.
The airport design consists of a round landing plate and it is so small that it only takes a few days to build it.

In a statement Ricky Sandhu, founder of Urban airport, said:
“Flying cars used to be a futuristic flight of fancy. Air-One will bring clean urban air transport to the masses and unleash a new airborne world of zero-emission mobility.” Newspaper This is Money reports.
