πŸ’‘ Big launch of the Optimist’s Edge

In April we launched our new format Optimist’s Edge.

Was it successful? I would say so! Lots of new Premium Supporters.

Every week we give our Premium Supporters a new edge by showing they what people (wrongly) believe and comparing that to the facts.

The difference between those two is the Optimist’s Edge.

When you understand something most people don’t, you have an edge.

Our first article was on electric cars and answered the question when they will be cheaper than gasoline cars. Most people think they never will be, which is completly wrong…

πŸ“Ί Warp News on Australian Ticker NEWS

Warp News co-founder and CEO, Mathias Sundin, was interviewed on Ticker NEWS.

He talked about how everything Warp Institute had planned for 2020 got cancelled because of the pandemic – and how we out of that launched Warp News.

πŸ’΅ New investment in Warp News

Warp News is a company that is owned and majority controlled by the non-profit foundation Warp Institute.

We have the great pleasure of having a great group of investors supporting our mission of spreading fact-based optimistic news and making the future come sooner.

In April we raise another $250.000 adding to the $125.000 we raised last year. Among the new investors is Johannes Schildt, co-founder and CEO of Kry, Sweden’s latest unicorn, valued at $2 billion.

Swedish startup site Breakit wrote about our new investor.

Reach in April

In April our reach was 182,759. This is not unique individuals, but how many times our content was exposed to someone online.

People interacted with our content 25,636 times (likes, comments, shares, or clicks.)

22,229 people visited our news websites.

Our mission is to make people more optimistic about the future, so they see and grab the opportunities. A mission like that is, of course, hard to measure. But we believe that the more people we reach with fact-based optimistic content, the bigger impact we’ll have.
