Warp Important Person
A WIP is a forward-looking person who contributes to a better future and, through the membership, increases their own opportunity to influence it.
Support Warp News
The monthly contribution for WIP is $10, or $100 for one year. Of that money, 50% goes directly towards the production and sharing of fact-based optimistic content via Warp News.
Today, Warp News consists of the website at news.warpinstitute.org, a podcast, a newsletter, and all content is shared on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
When we reach 1,000 WIPs, we’ll add a YouTube channel for Warp News and do a weekly episode.
Premium Content with Expertise About the Future
The thing that we all lack most is time. So we use our expertise to find and share the podcasts, articles, books, videos, movies, and events that are most relevant to understand the future.
You’ll also get our own premium material of articles, commentary, and analysis to peek into tomorrow and show how you can have a bigger impact on that future.
Of your 10 dollars, 20% goes to the production of WIP content, events, and also the Warp administration. (Boring… but the bookkeeping needs to be done.)
The premium content is produced by Mathias Sundin, the founder of Warp Institute and former Member of Parliament, Sweden.
In Parliament, he worked with some of the world’s most successful startups, like Spotify, to craft legislation. He also worked on policy for self-driving vehicles, drones, Hyperloop, agile contracts, and more.
Sundin pushed the European Space Agency to develop reusable rockets, and also the Swedish government to adopt a new national space policy (which it did), with the goal of sending a Swedish citizen to Mars as part of an international Mars mission (which it didn’t).
Mr. Sundin understands technology, policy, and society which gives him a unique perspective to analyze the future.

More Reasons To Join
Vote and decide what projects Warp should support
The projects will be nominated by the Warp community, vetted by the Warp executive team, and then the WIPs make the decision which projects should get the support.
The token will be launched in Q1 2020, and you then get tokens for all of the time you’ve been a WIP.
30 percent of your $10 will support projects.
Your name in space
Until the next vote, the 30% – $3 per WIP – goes to Warp Space Program and the world’s first asteroid mission.
The launch of the test mission is in June 2020, and your name will then go to space on that spacecraft. And if you remain a WIP your name will also travel all the way to the asteroid, with planned launch about a year after the test mission.
