We are a community of people who, together, are creating a better future. We are optimistic about technology, science and human progress.
The mission of Warp Institute is to level up humanity.
We want to give humanity goals and direction with Warp Levels and level up as quickly as possible through a community of optimists creating our future.
This could involve goals like global democracy and peace. That energy should be clean, abundant, and cheap. Everyone has access to the internet. No further global warming. And much more.
With a clear next level (and the next, and the next), humanity can improve and evolve more rapidly. These levels should be directly determined by us, the people.
This is an enormous project that will take many years to realize. In the first step, we talk to people about what they want to see in the next level and how we can get there.
This is our biggest project and the foundation of everything we do.
A community of fact-based optimists
We are convinced that the future is created by optimists.
The reason is this:
It’s difficult to create the future we want without first imagining it.
Optimists are better than anyone else at painting that picture.
A positive vision of the future gives energy to overcome obstacles and difficulties to reach the goal.
Therefore, it is the optimists who create the future.
To make the future as good as possible and to arrive as quickly as possible, we gather all these optimists in a community.
A large, global community of fact-based optimistic people will be the strongest force for progress ever.

Mathias Sundin is The Angry Optimist

It was during Mathias Sundin’s time as a Member of Parliament that he became an angry optimist.
Optimist because he met world-leading innovators and saw the bright future they created. Angry at how they were dismissed by pessimists and their ideas drowned in a negative news flow.
The innovators had one thing in common: They were all optimists – and not naive.
That was when he realized that the future is created by optimists.
The best way to have a positive impact on the future was to create a community for these optimists.

Leveling up
We contribute to reaching the next level through several projects. Clean and cheap energy in abundance, doubling learning in schools, and improving the negative balance in news media.
Project Energy Society
Together with internet pioneer, Jonas Birgersson, we run Project Energy Society. When fossil-free electricity is stored and shared between households via batteries in thousands of small electric grids. Then it becomes possible for a household to get all the electricity needed, at a low fixed price.
Centuar School
The new AI tools represent a revolution for schools. For the first time, it’s possible for every student to have a really smart private tutor, in every subject. And for teachers and other school staff to contribute to better teaching. Together with the Tellus Group, we drive Project Centaur School.
